light and chic in every respect

If you know me, you already know how much I love spending time in bead stores and how much I love earrings... When I'm in a bead store, time stands still for me and I feel enchanted by all the pretty, neatly organized little things. This order and the beauty of the little things make me feel good and transport me into an atmosphere of perfection that I can immerse myself in for hours without even realizing it. Who knows, maybe one day I'll open a bead store myself...
Among the pretty little things I bought in a bead store with the thought of using them sooner or later were these:
round black wooden bead
flat natural-colored wooden bead
small wooden bead each, natural + black
Many beads can also be found online; in some posts you will find links to corresponding products so that you can buy them from the comfort of your own home, even if there is no bead store near you. Some of the beads that I have bought in different bead stores while strolling around in different cities I have not been able to find online - if you know a good address, please write to me so that it can make the search easier for others.
As you can see in the photo, I used a silver wire about 4 cm long, the end of which forms an eyelet to be attached to the ear hook. The wooden beads of the earring are threaded onto this. I used small pliers to bend the end of the silver wire into a spiral, which looks decorative and holds the beads in place. Violà, that's all there is to it! The wooden earring is finished.
With its neutral and natural colors, it goes perfectly with any outfit and is elegant yet special in its simplicity. Earrings also tell something about us, about our personality, our taste and our values - at least to the most attentive observers. Earrings are also often an interesting topic of conversation when someone asks me where I found the earrings or what their history is... In case you're curious: this earring is from Ireland.
An earring like this is also always a nice, simple and inexpensive homemade gift for someone who loves nature, wood and naturally understated jewelry that is still eye-catching.
A hug and see you soon!
