funny earring with animal motif

an original idea, homemade with heart

These earrings will put a smile on your face - and not just on children's faces. In this post, I'll tell you how to make these original and beautiful earrings in the shape of a penguin or polar bear that will go perfectly with a colorful outfit, for a day spent with children, an outing (not just to the zoo...) or any other non-formal occasion in your life.

I bought these little rubber animals in a bead store, but you can also find them here under the following links (penguins, wild animals, pets, Australia set, zoo animals, insects).

In this section of my blog, which is dedicated to "styling" in the broadest sense, you will find many posts on a wide variety of earrings. The motive for this is that I really like earrings, especially something fancy, fun, colorful, original, DIY-style homemade ones. I've already talked in other posts about my earring storage idea, which hangs on the wall in my home and offers space for all my earrings - I think it's very decorative and practical. I'm happy to have my earrings in view, even if - logically - I don't wear them all the time. In addition to their main function of being a piece of jewelry, earrings are also something artistic for me that can spark conversations, communicate something to the outside world and also serve as a little reminder of what I am capable of pulling out of my sleeve. They remind me of the magic of the complex or simple manufacturing process and of the way in which an idea, something intangible, can be turned into something concrete and real that can be looked at with the eyes, touched with the hands and worn.

This idea is for anyone who wants to wear such an earring with their favorite animal, wants to give a funny earring as a gift or is looking for a special, animal-themed accessory for a themed outfit. The earring is very easy to make yourself.

You need:

You simply drill a small hole in a small rubber animal where you want to attach the ear hook and attach a silver wire with an eyelet there, which you fix with a little superglue.

I particularly like wearing the earring with the penguin - it puts me in a good mood and it's fun to see how other people react to it and whether they notice the wink.

Don't you think it's very easy to make these funny earrings? Don't they seem like a good gift for a friend with a sense of humor or for a child between the ages of 5 and 85? I can't wait to hear what you think and look forward to reading from you or seeing photos of what you've created for yourself or someone you care about.

Have fun getting creative! A hug and see you soon!
